About Me

Hi, I’m Neil Skelton and I am a qualified Electrician, thank you for taking the time to view my website. I served a full apprenticeship and gained a vast amount of electrical experience, in homes, small businesses and on construction sites across Kent and the South East of England before then going into business.

I now run Local Leccy Limited, which is a company I own together with my business partner Stuart Watson. I specialise in domestic electrical installations and I’m passionate about giving my customers the level of service they want and deserve. As I’m not running a huge multi-national enterprise, you can feel confident that I will give you the same high quality of service, regardless of the size of job. I enjoy my work and I enjoy meeting and working with my customers, to see what they think of me, have a look at my testimonials page.

About Local Leccy Limited…

Local Leccy Limited are based in the beautiful coastal town of Westgate-on-Sea in East Kent, which means that we can quickly access all of the towns and villages on the Isle of Thanet. We are just minutes away from the Cathedral City of Canterbury and most other East Kent towns. However, we also have very valued customers throughout the entire county of Kent and South London.

Local Leccy Limited is a registered Private Limited Company (number 8575948). We are domestic installers on the NICEIC ‘competent persons’ scheme (D603887). The NICEIC logo (above) is widely recognised by the public and is regarded by many in the construction industry as a set standard.

Like all approved electricians on the scheme, NICEIC inspect us annually to ensure that we continue to meet the required standards of knowledge, training, public liability and independent insurance backed guarantees set by the government. As a result we complete our own reports and certificates, which we register through NICEIC with your Local Authority Building Control. We are experts at dealing with electrical installations in the home, whether it involves finding faults, installing additional lighting or electrical sockets, right through to re-wires and new building installations. Local Leccy also work on small business premises and carry out work for landlords and letting agencies.

Every electrical installation is different and the regulations and guidelines which have been put in place for all of our safety can seem daunting if you are unfamiliar with them, but I am here to help and I don’t talk in riddles! So why not take the next step and contact me to discuss how I can help with your installation?

I look forward to hearing from you.
